Dave Bindelglass: Celebrating the Last Blast of Summer with GREAT LOCAL MUSIC!

Easton is celebrating the last blast of summer with some fantastic local music. On Thursday, Gerry Snover and Friends played blues and rock at Greiser's-- We're lucky to have such great local musical talent--and also to have Greiser's as a local hub where we can meet to enjoy so many wonderful events. Thank you Adrienne and Jerry! And don't forget we still have one more Grieser's Summer Community Cookout left on Sept 21.

And tomorrow, more great music with Irena Hart and Friends for a great cause: The Easton Rocks for Ukraine concert tomorrow afternoon from 3-5 at Christ Church will support our Sister City Sviatohirsk. Let's show our love and support for Easton's Sister City. General Admission is $15.

This week as we worked to restore water to everyone in Easton impacted by the water main break, I was reminded of how many Ukrainians have survived without basic services--including drinkable water--since the start of the war. In the spring when I visited our Sister City, Sviatohirsk, I was moved by the bravery and determination of the people--and I'm so proud of the generosity of our community as we continue to find ways to support them. Thanks to Easton residents’ generosity, Ukraine Aid International has purchased and delivered a dump truck and water filtration system for Sviatohirsk. Thanks to everyone for supporting our local talent and our Sister City!. This is why Easton is known as a small town with a big heart.
