Meet the Constables: Irv Silverman, David Katz, and Raymond Martin III


Irv Silverman is a second generation owner of Silverman’s Farm, a 50-year member of the Easton Volunteer Fire Company, a charter member of the Easton Lions Club, and currently an elected Constable for the town of Easton. Irv serves on the Agriculture Commission and wants to protect our valuable open spaces as well as the agricultural and residential communities. David Katz has lived in Easton for 25 years and is very active in town. A member of the Board for eleven years and past president of the Easton Racquet Club, David has also served as an Easton Fire Commissioner and a Constable, and he looks forward to serving the town for many years to come.


Raymond Martin III is one of the youngest candidates to be on the ballot in Easton. He is a life-long resident of Easton, having attended Samuel Staples Elementary School and Helen Keller Middle School. In 2020, he entered the Class of 2024 at Fairfield University, where he is majoring in history and political science to one day become a professor in the humanities.
