Rob is a strong advocate for personal rights and safe communities, while his opponent Tony Hwang voted to weaken commonsense gun law, supported Republicans who passed extremist abortion bans, and voted against paid family medical leave for victims of sexual assault. Rob's priorities are clear. He'll bring resources back to district, address the high cost of living, strengthen gun laws, and work for budget responsibility. And he has pledged to ensure that Connecticut maintains its BLUE WALL to protect our access to reproductive freedom and women's health care.
Rob is the only Democratic State Senate challenger to be endorsed by the Police Offers Association of Connecticut as well as Moms Demand Action, Planned Parenthood, and Reproductive Equity Now. We deserve better representation in Hartford than the current state senator who promises to support our values but then sides with extremists. Now is the time to flip this seat!
